3 ways to get your kids to like beets

Beet Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can No Sodium Cannelini Beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 TBLS Tahini
  • 3 TBLS Olive Oil More if you are looking for a creamy texture
  • 4 Roasted Beets I recommend purchasing the already roasted packaged ones to save time
  • 1/3 cup Sun dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 Garlic clove optional
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Place all the ingredients except the sesame seeds into a food processor. Turn the food processor on and blend until creamy and smooth. 

    2. Garnish the white bean beet hummus with sesame seeds and serve.
