Long weekends call for some waffles. Don’t know if it is the cozy grey skies, the Sunday morning vibes, or the fact that we have a long weekend but waffles are a must. These vanilla breakfast waffles are easy and worth every bite.
Breakfast isn’t always my go to meal but when we are cozy on the weekends and sleep in I crave a yummy breakfast. It is probably the fact that we are not rushing out of the house to get the day started. Sundays are about taking a slower start to the day and enjoying every second of the slower pace. Sunday Vanilla Breakfast Waffles happened to the craving this weekend.
Today I am sharing with you a super simple one bowl easy waffle recipe. I hope that it inspires you to take a slower pace to your weekend mornings. Take that extra few minutes to lounge and enjoy it. Don’t feel guilty about slowing it down on the weekends. Also don’t feel guilty about caving into your breakfast cravings. Lightly fluffy and a hint of vanilla makes these waffles ones you will smile with every bite.

Vanilla Breakfast Waffles
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups All purpose flour
- 2 TBLS Unsalted Butter melted
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 TBLS Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Garnishes
- Yogurt
- Butter
- Berries
- Powdered Sugar
- Maple Syrup
Instructions
- 1. Heat your waffle maker. 2. In a bowl mix with a spatula all the ingredients above. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients. 3. Pour half of the batter into the waffle maker and cook until golden. Then remove the cooked waffle and place on a plate. Repeat with the remaining batter. Garnish and enjoy!
