Calling all chocolate lovers for this amazing Sweet Salty Healthy Chocolate Bark. Chocolate barks are a great little dessert or sweet tooth snack to have in your kitchen. I always have a bag in my freezer of something chocolate.
Chocolate makes for a great healthy dessert. Much better than a cake, cupcake, or some cookies. Adding something salty paired with the sweetness of chocolate is a favorite pairing. Of course chocolate by themselves is awesome. But adding Glutino gluten free pretzels adds a layer of crunch and a touch salt.
To enhance this chocolate bark even more adding a layer of almond butter, is literally amazing. The creamy almond butter with the crunch and salt of the pretzel pieces and then all with a bite of chocolate. Are you salivating thinking about that description?
This snack or dessert is a high good fat and low carbohydrate option. This will help to keep from a spike of insulin or sugar levels in the body. Typically desserts will spike our insulin levels due to the sugar and mainly carbohydrate flour base. This chocolate bar won’t do that. There are no added sugars at all in this healthy chocolate bark. That makes this a really healthy and really delicious recipe and option.
Enjoy this yummy, easy, and healthy chocolate sweet and salty bark treat!
