So I made these cookies on Sunday because well who doesn’t love chocolate, nutella, cookies, and all of that put together to make these cookies. Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies are truly some of my favorite cookies. I love nutella, not to the point where I put it on everything, but more like a spoonful of nutella is just perfect. Kinda like a spoonful of peanut butter just makes everything okay kind of a feeling.
Nutella was created in Italy in Turin. Honestly the Italian version of the original nutella is much more delicious than our sweet sugary nutella. It is still great, but you don’t need much to get the flavor across in a dish. For these cookies all you need is a little bit, 2 tablespoons for a delicious boost of added flavors of yumminess.
So I have been baking cookies for along time. I have made many many many cookies, thousands. That is just chocolate chip cookies, thousands of chocolate chip cookies. I have baked many different kinds of chocolate chip cookies, really sweet, soft and chewy, cake-like, or ones that are crispy and melt in your mouth. All different kinds, but these nutella chocolate chip cookies top all of the others I have made. Why, you ask? Honestly it is the addition of nutella which makes it a bit more decadent and special than a classic chocolate chip cookie.
