Everything but the Kitchen Sink Monster Cookies

It has been a few weeks since I have created a cookie recipe and these are to die for! Literally if you only need one good cookie recipe for the rest of your life this should be it. These everything but the kitchen sink monster cookies are just that, everything. This cookie is a bite filled with crunchy, sweet, gooey, and so many delicious flavors. I recommend making these occasionally because if you are life me and my family you fall into their sinful spell and be hooked to these cookies for eternity so make a batch of these every once in a while.

The recipe for these cookies is very very very simple and jam packed with ridiculously awesome flavors. A helpful tip if you want to make a batch of the cookie dough you and roll and freeze the cookie dough and bake the cookies off whenever you want. This is a helpful tip if you are like me and see the cookie jar filled with these cookies and you loose your ability of self control.

I am a big cookie fan! I love the ability to grab one and enjoy it with a smile on your face. It is literally one of the best desserts or sweet afternoon treats to enjoy. Make these for you, your family, your friends, co-works, or whomever because they are guaranteed to be a hit!

Yields 12 cookies

Time 20-25 minutes

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

8 Tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup cane sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup chocolate chunks

1/2 cup Unreal Chocolate Peanut Butter Pieces

1/4 cup dried cranberries

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a stand mixer cream together the butter and sugar for about 1 minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix for 30 seconds on medium speed.

3. In a large bowl  measure and add the flour, oats, baking soda and powder, and sea salt. Whisk together. While the stand mixer is on low begin to incorporate the dry ingredients. Once a cookie batter is formed turned the stand mixer off. With a spatula fold in the dried cranberries, chocolate chunks, Unreal candies, and pecans and walnuts.

4. On a parchment lined baking tray scoop even amounts of cookie batter about 2 inches apart. Roll the cookie dough into a circle, gently press it down the palm of your hand until it is about 1/4inch thickness. Once this is all done bake the cookies in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are just golden. Remove them from oven, let the cool on the baking tray for 10 minutes then move them gently to a cooling rack.
