Pumpkin and pie are the two words this month that are inevitable. Put them together and pumpkin pie is without a doubt going to be served on your Thanksgiving table in just over a week. I have been baking pumpkin pie for the holiday for years and years, but this easy as pie pumpkin pie is literally the easiest and most flavorful. A fluffy slice of warming creamy pumpkin pie is the perfect dessert to end a Thanksgiving meal.

This pumpkin pie recipe is easy easy easy. The last thing we want during this holiday is to complicate one more recipe. Instead of adding another complicated recipe to your list swap it with this easy as pie pumpkin pie recipe to your list. All you are going to need are just a few ingredients.

Easy as Pie Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 can Pumpkin Puree I used Whole Foods Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk I used a brand Whole Foods has
  • 1/3 cup Cane Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1.5 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1 Immaculate Pre-made Pie Dough

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. 
    2. In a stand mixer mix together well all the ingredients except the pie dough. Let it mix with a paddle attachment for about 2 minutes, until it has some bubbles. 
    3. Carefully roll out the pie dough and place into the pie mold. Pinch the crust as desired for a design. Using a fork dock or press lightly a few fork marks in the bottom of the pie dough. Pour the pumpkin pie filling into the pie crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes. The center of the pumpkin pie should be set and the crust lightly golden. 
    Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to completely cool before serving.
