Strawberry Lime Berry Daiquiri

Memorial Day weekend must always have it’s own celebratory long weekend beverage. This weekend enjoy the 3 day weekend with this very delicious and fruity Strawberry Lime Berry Daiquiri. A little frozen blend of so many delicious ingredients makes for a great pool side drink to enjoy!

Strawberries are in high season and they are delicious. Right now there are so many berries and especially strawberries to eat well I decided to change it up and turn it into a beverage. Daiquiris are great as they are. Instead of making them really really really sweet I changed the recipe.

The addition of lime juice, pomegranate simply syrup, and frozen raspberries makes this a tart versus a sweet drink. Personally I like a drink to be a bit more tart than sweet. Plus let’s be honest the older we are the more sugar in a drink the worse we feel. One of the great things about this daiquiri recipe is that there are so many refreshing and hydrating vitamins from the fresh fruit. The added kick of white rum makes it a fun holiday pool side drink to enjoy and relax.

Strawberry Lime Berry Daiquiri

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Diced Strawberries
  • 1/3 cup Frozen Raspberries
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 3.5 oz. White Rum
  • 2 TBLS Pomegranate Simple Syrup or Regular Simple Syrup

Instructions

  1. 1. Add all the ingredients in a high speed blender with ice. Blend until smooth and pureed.

    Serve immediately with a wedge of fresh lime and enjoy!
