Pear Chocolate Ginger Loaf

Pear Chocolate Ginger Loaf

We are in full baking mode here at A Taste of Wellbeing. Starting this baking season off with this Pear Chocolate Ginger Loaf. These 3 ingredients make for one of the most moist and delicious loaf cakes, like ever.

Ginger and pears as a perfect fall and winter pairing. The kick of spice from the ginger is a beautiful compliment to the soft juicy sweet pear. Also adding pears to this loaf cake brings a lot of moisture to a cake.

You will never guess that this loaf cake is actually good for you. There is ZERO, NADA, NONE of butter or oil in this loaf cake. Usually these kinds of recipes call for loads of butter. Around this time of the year we really don’t need any more added calories. That is why this recipe is one of my favorite to bake during the holidays. You won’t feel guilty eating a slice. Gotta love that!

Pear Chocolate Ginger Loaf

You know me and how much I love my chocolate treats. The addition of chocolate chunks throughout the loaf brings a bit of crunch and a decadent creamy chocolate bliss. Pears and chocolate are again another classic pairing. Chocolate dipped poached pears are a beautiful and elegant dessert for the holidays. If you are not up for the task of poaching pears, go for this really easy loaf recipe and you will get all the same yummy flavors.
